About the Event
Not all applicants are approved for this group as it is made clear that there are no short-cuts to becoming a Witch. Traditionally, students take a year and a day to prepare for their initiation into the Craft. Under the watchful eye of our wonderful High Priestess you will learn how to integrate your magickal world into an every day practice.Â
The candidates that are selected will be asked to attend two Introductory Meetings to provide information on:
- What the course entails
- Student Requirements
- Expectations
- Syllabus
- Important dates
- Etiquette
                             This year the meetings are on: Sunday November 6th and November 13th from 6-9pm.
Lessons include exercises, Wiccan theology and lore, and discussions relating to circle work, magical correspondences, holidays, deities, tools, healing, ...this intensive study course teaches the core content of Wiccan practice: the tides of time, the wonders of the seasons, the ways of herbs and magic, the mysticism of the Old Ones, and the inner disciplines of seers and sages.Â
Mandatory Bi-Weekly* meetings are held on Fridays from 7pm -9pm, with the closed group also enable socialisation and team building through effective respectful communication. Please do not apply for this sought after position if you are unable to commit to the dates of meetings and rituals. (*The dates may be subject to change) Each class costs $20 (payable at the time of the class) and builds on the previous classes.Â
Private and public rituals are held on Saturdays. All dates are provided in the syllabus which are given in the second of two meetings. This year the meetings are on: Sunday November 6th and November 13th from 6-9pm.
Wicca is not simply a class, it is a way of life that is closer to nature, the ancients, and the healing that can come from both. Once you have successfully completed all criteria you will be invited to elevate. If you so choose, you will then be initiated to a 1st Degree Witch.
